Product caused me $2500 in repair costs
- - Used a click twist and seal water line for the kitchen sink.
- - It seized on the faucet and required removing the kitchen countertop to replace.
I used one of their 'click twist and seal' water lines for my kitchen sink. Less than 3 months later, when I tried to remove it, it had seized on the faucet, and I had to have my entire kitchen countertop removed to get it replaced. AVOID

Preferred solution: technician to come out and remove the water line for me.

Not Happy With Fluidmaster Fill Valves Fitted a Fluidmaster Bottom-Entry Brass Shank Fill Valve 1/2" to my cistern about 6 months ago and it was never right because it would take at least 5 to 6 minut
Nothing at all, they have not offered to replace it or offered a refund. Not happy at all, to say the least!

They sell a universal kit but it's not universal. Very disappointed in quality and in the fact that I had to go back to buy the parts needed that were not universal.

The white gasket on the flapper formed bubbles and will not seal properly. Everything else works fine.
That model has a 10-year warranty.

False Advertising
- - The flusher fit a Mansfield toilet but locked the flapper open.
- - Water kept draining from the tank; I paid extra shipping hoping for a fix.
I bought a product that said it worked on my toilet but they clearly never even tried it. I have a mansfield toilet and they said the new flusher fit and while it did actually fit it also LOCKED THE FLAPPER OPEN.
Flushing a toilet and the water continuing to drain from the tank into the toilet IS NOT HOW A TOILET IS SUPPOSED TO FUNCTION!
Just messed up. I paid extra for shipping too so i could use the hall toilet again w/o getting my hand wet reaching in the tank to flush it.
It's so badly designed I honestly considered just designing something and 3d printing it.
Pathetic.

Bought a toilet float that did not have a seal under the cap. Customer service didnt believe me.
Over the last 5 years Ive purchased 6-7 of these valves. 3 were bad.
This was the worst.

Refusal to Refund Product That Cannot be Used
- - Couldn't install; assembly differed from instructions.

I have heard nothing from Fluidmaster to-date.
I called their Tech Support and talked to Jesus M. He asked that I send a picture of the inside of my toilet so he could advise how I could install this. I received an email from him asking a technical question about the inside of my toilet. I explained that I had no idea what he was referring to and would like a refund.
He told me there is no refund on this product.
However, their website states refunds are via their "technical support". Their handling of me as a customer and consumer is atrocious and is simply a runaround.
To-date FluidMaster has not offered any resolution to this issue.

Poor design on kit 540AK
- - The Toiled Flush Valve Kit 540AK leaks water between tower sections.
- - Raising the outer tower causes ghost flushing and a sealer fixes it.
I'm complaining about the Toiled Flush Valve Kit 540AK , the adjustable tower does not stop water from leaking in-between the 2 sections so when you raise the outer tower to allow a higher water level you get Ghost flushing's due to water leaking past the towers.
To fix it you have to put a sealer so no water can take that path.
Why not have a twist seal between towers so you can pull up to desired level, twist the outer tower to seal any water bypassing between them ?
This is what I had to do to fix my issue with this kit. .

Old valve started hissing and leaking past the valve, New valve installed is worse than the old one.
